July 13, 2013 Training and Touring

Good afternoon to everyone once again back home in the states. Today was a good day! We started the day with another 6:30 am training session. We worked on a couple of drills, along with joker, which we plsyec 3 touch and then we tried 1 touch to keep our tactics evolving with paying quickly and support te ball by moving constantly. They did extremely well with this 1 touch phase. It is really starting to sink in we will play and I am very proud of the entire team for making this adjustment in such a short period of time! We concluded taining with 4 v 4 in a very small grid and then we took penalty kicks.

We returned to our hotel for breakfast and prepared or our 2nd day of touring. Today we went o Beit Guvrin, which is the caves that were homes to many people. After thy went through the caves, we went to Latrun, which is the museum of all the tanks used in all the wars. I never get tired of seeing all these beautiful tanks, as I was a tanker during my time in the military. After seeing a short film, we looked at all the different kind of tanks by the era in which they fought.

Tomorrow morning, we will have a scrimmage game with our Youth team, which has one of our very top recruits playing on it. Dylan Rose is the player to whom I am referring. We will play at 7:00 am st our training field. We must get back quickly in order to eat breakfast, have our team photo taken and depart at noon for touring Jerusalem and the Old City, inluding the Western Wall! This is a very solemn and special time for all of us. We will also go o Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum. What an incredible day is in store!

So until tomorrow, I will wish everyone a wonderful week-end and to my family and Goldens, I love and miss you all so very much.
